Hi Jon - unfortunately it looks like MCN might be out. I'm in Germany the week it starts and then away at the weekend

I've been reading about the test change. It's looking unlikely I'll be able to get everything in before March now as I'm just about to shell out 700 on a couple of tickets for Le Mans and have a new carpet to buy for one of the bedrooms!

I've also just been told by a mate that he might be getting rid of his full-size Rangey Supercharged in March and has given me first refusal on it. An 06 Vogue SE, fully loaded with 20k on the clock (even has the twin DVD screens in the rear headrests! ). Wants 23k in March (he bought it for 83k 3 years ago!!). Looks like a bargain, so I may well hold out for that and keep the motorcycling on the back-burner for later in the year.

Yeah- seems to make sense.
Unfortunately I'm not able to get to MCN either anymore
On another annoying note, Dad brought the new Rotary up today... and I can't have a go on it because my knees won't fit behind the fairing!!!! Anyone want a couple of vertebrae? Being tall is such a pain!
He has offered me the interpol 2, trouble is, it'll have to sit in the garage for the next 18 months until I can ride it! Unless I restrict it myself... I'm sure I could spin myself a couple of discs on the lathe to put in the carbs...
Decisions decisions
As ever, money is the limiting factor- I can't really stretch to a car and a bike, and I'm thinking about buying a facelift mk 1 focus 1.6 (with a few toys) I had a go in my friend's today and it holds the road like I could only dream the fiesta would!

Hmm. Not sure actually. Looks a bit like the new Norton Commando, which I like a lot. I think it would benefit from speed-triple headlights
Won't be riding for a wee while anyway, a newbie at work today managed to run over my foot with a pallet-truck and my foot is shattered
